OPTION 1: The most economical way to get all the training you require is when you purchase a device through our technology partner provider. If you are looking to purchase a Laser or IPL platform, you will receive selected theory & selected practical training FREE with your laser or IPL purchase. Contact us to discuss this.
OPTION 2: If you’d prefer, you can self-fund the required theory studies before purchasing, or if you are not sure of your finances yet, you can start with your online self-guided theory and reach back out to us once you know what topics and or devices you wish to pursue.

Starting in hair removal is open entry programme, and although yes, anyone can train in the topic, there are factors to consider:
There are regulations for those operating in certain regions - please check your local council for details.
Not everyone is great at laser or IPL - this is a technical field requiring good hand -to eye co-ordination, repeated movements, and it can be tiring work. Additionally mastering your communications skills, and having excellent hygienic practices is also part of what is required of you.
Buying a quality laser or IPL for conducting hair removal treatment isn’t cheap, although the internet is flooded with cheap devices , many are not effective, safe or worth the advertised price. Do not buy anything until you have completed professional training. Or seek a quote to get started with IPL or Laser hair removal, and recieve selected FREE TRAINING with the device you purchase.
Many burns occur because of a lack of understanding of the science and safe use of a device. Plan to take 30 hours to complete the required theory, and 4 days minimum to start at the basics. Advanced hair removal takes longer.
The cost of a device ranges from $60K to $200K (excl. GST)
Suppliers you purchase from offer training with the device you buy, this may vary from the quality and quantity of training we provide. Best advice is to go through us end to end and don’t rush into buying anything until you are trained and know what type of device you actually need.

You have TWO options:
1: If you already have an IPL or Laser device - Before booking practical training on-site at your own premises, you'll need to complete the required theory modules. This ensures you have a solid foundation in laser safety, treatment protocols, and best practices. Once your theory is completed, you can book a for our trainer to come to you for on-site practical training to gain hands-on experience and refine your skills.
2: If you do not have any IPL or Laser technologies and want to be guided to purhase or finance some technologies, we will assist you end to end. This includes selected FREE TRAINING. Under our latest supplier arranagement, you will actually receive some FREE training with your purchase, this includes FREE ON-SITE training in your own premises using your new devices. Contact us to discuss this.

Hair removal, laser safety topics, and skin anatomy & physiology are the easiest.
Skin rejuvenation is one of the more complicated due to the natures and variety of technology available to conduct treatments - what we teach is generic and can be applied to any brand of Laser or IPL.
Laser Tattoo Removal is advanced due to the fact you are causing pain / discomfort but should not be torturing the person. You will be dealing with technical matters, and need a keen eye for wound care, higher levels of patient care standards, and understand how no two tattoos may react the same. The education we provide is generic and can be applied to any brand of tattoo removal device.
Please note, if you are interested to start in this industry and unsure which topic is of most interest, you should start with looking into what it costs to invest in the right device to do the job, as machine costs vary, and the device used for each treatments may not be available all on a single system.
IPL platforms can do a good range of skin rejuve and hair removal (but not for tattoo removal)
Q-Switched laser can do laser tattoo removal and skin rejuve (but not for hair removal)
Diode laser can offer hair removal (but cant do skin rejuve or tattoo removal)

We recommend renewing your laser safety certificate (LSC Beauty, LSC Med, or LSC Surg) every three years to stay up to date with evolving regulations, terminology, and safety standards.
Remember, holding a laser safety certificate is not the same as being trained to operate a laser or IPL device. If you need to refresh your skills, explore the course options further down our courses page to find the right training for you.
